Cabin Crew

Cabin crew has many synonyms like Air hostess, Flight stewards and Flight attendants and are considered as global citizens. The primary duty of a Cabin crew inside the aircraft is the safety of passengers and aircraft providing a homely feeling.

A cabin crew is a very high professional job which requires not only exceptionally good looks & features but also should be smart, intelligent and patient and possess the ability to understand, honor and welcome multiple cultures globally. Cabin crew should have enough knowledge to learn, understand and respond to the passengers/ cabin crew/ flight crew in a pleasant manner.

Working as a Cabin crew provides an opportunity to meet people of different cultures and backgrounds as well as opportunities to travel.

Duties include:

  • Greet and direct the passengers to their respective seats
  • Providing special attention to certain passengers, such as the elderly or specially abled
  • Checking the condition and provision of emergency equipment
  • Demonstrating emergency equipment and safety procedures
  • Administering first aid
  • Dealing with emergencies
  • Producing written flight reports after completing a journey.
  • Serving the passengers with meals and refreshments
  • Other in-flight services
